Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, the ninth Sikh Guru, is revered as the “Hind dī Chādar” for his supreme sacrifice to protect religious freedom and human dignity. A spiritual luminary and poet-saint, he emphasized compassion, courage, and the importance of rising above fear and attachment. His martyrdom in 1675 stands as a timeless symbol of selflessness, as he willingly gave his life to defend the rights of others, regardless of their faith. His teachings, preserved in the Guru Granth Sahib, continue to inspire humanity toward righteousness, peace, and universal brotherhood.
