The India Government Mint, Hyderabad, has opened the bookings for the ₹75  commemorative coin  issued to mark the  Platinum Jubilee Celebration of the National Defence Academy . The bookings are open from December 4, 2023, and it is subject to limited availability. Earlier, the Hon'ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, unveiled a ₹75  commemorative coin  during the Passing out Parade (POP) for the 145th course of the National Defence Academy (NDA) on November 30, 2023, at Pune. The  National Defence Academy  coins are issued in Proof with MDF or Wooden Box package, while the Proof Set and UNC Set with the Folder/Blister packaging are still yet to open for booking. The Government of India will issue a ₹75  commemorative coin  to mark the  Platinum Jubilee Celebration of National Defence Academy , Khadakwasla, Pune. The Ministry of Finance issued a gazette notification on November 17, 2023, confirming this coin. The National Defence Academy (NDA) proudly marks its '75 Glorious Years' on January 16, 2024. To celebrate this milestone, a year-long series of commemorative activities highlighting its achievements across various domains will be held from January 19, 2023, to January 16, 2024. These activities serve as a fitting tribute to the visionary founders of the Academy and also pay homage to the sacrifices made by its alumni in safeguarding our nation.
