The India Government Mint, Mumbai, has started bookings for silver  souvenir token  on Maryada Purushottam Prabhu Shree Ram ahead of the festival of Ram Navami. The bookings commenced on March 10, 2026, and will remain open subject to limited availability. Maryada Purushottam Prabhu Shri Ram is revered as the embodiment of righteousness, truth, and ideal conduct in Hindu tradition. His life, narrated in the sacred epic Ramayana, reflects the highest values of duty, devotion, and moral strength. Shri Ram is worshipped as the perfect son, husband, brother, and king, and his example continues to guide millions of devotees in leading a life based on dharma. The India Government Mint, Hyderabad has issued a silver  commemorative souvenir to mark the 83rd birthday celebrations of Avadhoota Datta Peetham pontiff Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji , held with grandeur on May 25, 2025 at Mysore. On this occasion, sacred rituals such as Rudra Homa, Ayushya Homa, and Rudra Abhisheka were performed at the Sri Datta Venkateshwara Temple. The commemorative souvenir was unveiled by Smt. P. Vijayalakshmi, Manager of the Reserve Bank of India, Hyderabad Branch, marking a unique and memorable moment. From the images, it appears that the commemorative souvenirs were issued with a Folder or Blister packaging. However, it appears that this commemorative souvenir was made exclusively for a private trust, similar to the one issued for the Diamond Jubilee of the Hyderabad Philatelic & Hobbies Society in 2022. It is unlikely to be released for public circulation or listed on the official website of the India Government Mint.

The India Government Mint, Kolkata has opened bookings for ' National Bird Peacock ' colored  souvenir token  from March 12, 2025. The metal composition of the souvenir token is made of Nickel Silver (Copper 60%, Nickel 20% & Zinc 20%) weighing 32 grams with a 44 mm diameter  and 2.5 mm thickness. Earlier, the mint has released two colored tokens under the Endangered Animals of India theme featuring ' Great One-Horned Rhinoceros ' and ' The Asian Elephant '.  The  National Bird Peacock colored souvenir token is issued at the price of ₹1506 and is available with a limited quantities. These  souvenir tokens  are available at Mint Premises as well as on the India Government Mint's  official website .

The metal composition of the token is made of Nickel Silver (Copper 60%, Nickel 20% & Zinc 20%) weighing 32 grams with a 44 mm diameter  and 2.5 mm thickness. Last year during the 19th Foundation Day celebrations of the Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Limited (SPMCIL) in February 15, 2024, the mint has released the ' Great One-Horned Rhinoceros ' colored souvenir token under the Endangered Animals of India theme.  The  Elephant colored souvenir token is issued at the price of ₹1506 and is available with a limited quantities. These  souvenir tokens  are available at Mint Premises as well as on the India Government Mint's official website .

The Hon'ble Union Finance Minister, Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman, released the commemorative souvenir tokens during the 19th Foundation Day celebrations of the Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Limited (SPMCIL) on February 15, 2024. The souvenir tokens include ' Endangered Animals of India - Great One-Horned Rhinoceros ,' featuring the endangered species found in India. The bookings began on August 18, 2023, and are subject to limited availability. The Kolkata Mint has released Raksha Bandhan souvenirs in two silver variants—priced at ₹4,119 for the 50-gram token and ₹1,765 for the 20-gram token. Two gold variants are also available, priced at ₹32,348 for the 5-gram token and ₹16,239 for the 2.5-gram token, each offered in distinct designs. For Janmashtami, the Kolkata Mint has introduced silver souvenirs priced at ₹4,119 for the 50-gram token and ₹1,765 for the 20-gram token, along with a 5-gram gold token priced at ₹32,348. The bookings commenced on August 5, 2023, and will remain open subject to limited availability. For Onam and Shri Krishna Janmashtami, the Mint has introduced two options: a 5-gram gold token and a 20-gram silver token. The gold token is priced at ₹34,089.34, while the silver token is available for ₹1,959.86. The Raksha Bandhan souvenir is a specially designed coloured silver token, weighing 40 grams and priced at ₹4,291.55. Each souvenir comes in an elegantly designed folder/blister pack, making it an ideal gifting option for the festive season. The India Government Mint, Kolkata opened the bookings of  souvenir tokens  in Gold and Silver on occasion of ' Rath Yatra 2023 ' festival  from June 20, 2023. This year, the Puri Rath Yatra will take place on June 20 and culminate on June 28, 2023.  The souvenir tokens features the image of Jagannath, Balabhadra and Subhadra with the Puri temple at the background. The gold tokens are available in two variants: a 10-gram token priced at ₹65,663.02 and an 8-gram token priced at ₹52,581.29. The silver token is issued only in a 50-gram variant, priced at ₹4,235.22 as of June 20, 2023. Earlier, in 2010, the India Government Mint, Kolkata issued a 20-gram silver souvenir token to mark the Rath Yatra, and in 2018, ₹1,000 and ₹10 coins were released to mark Shree Jagannath Nabakalebara Festival.
