Former President Releases ₹125 Coin on Shri Ram Chandra, Babuji Maharaj

The Former President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind, released the ₹125  commemorative coin  to mark the ' 125th Birth Anniversary of Shri Ram Chandra 'Babuji Maharaj ', today, on April 30, 2024, along with Shri Kamlesh Patel 'Daaji', at Kanha Shanti Vanam, Hyderabad. The Former President has also been assigned as the Chairman of the International Heartfulness Celebrations Committee. Shri Ram Chandra of Shahjahanpur (1899-1983), affectionately known as Babuji, was a yogi from Uttar Pradesh, India. He devoted most of his life to developing and spreading a unique method of Raja Yoga meditation called Sahaj Marg. In 1945, he established the Shri Ram Chandra Mission with a vision to share this spiritual practice. The organisation was named in honor of his spiritual teacher, who shared the name Ram Chandra. RBI Coin Sets Now Available at India Govt Mint's Delhi Counter

The ₹90  commemorative coin  issued to celebrate the  90 Years of Reserve Bank of India  (RBI) is now available at the Sales Counter at India Government Mint's Corporate Office in New Delhi. The ₹90 coin, featured in the Proof Set and offered in Folder/Blister packaging, is priced at ₹4950 as of April 18, 2024. However, online bookings for the commemorative coin have not yet begun, and there may be a difference in online pricing. It's important to note that the  metal composition  of this ₹90 coin is Pure Silver (99.9%), weighing 40 grams with a diameter of 44 mm. It also features 200 serrations along the edge. The ₹90 is minted by India Government Mint, Kolkata. On the eve of the 125th Birth Anniversary of Shri Ram Chandra Ji 'Babuji' on April 30, 2024, the Government of India will release a ₹125 commemorative coin . The Former President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind, has been assigned as Chairman of the 125th Birth Anniversary of Babuji Maharaj Celebrations Committee. Hyderabad Mint Opens Bookings for Nirvan Mahotsav Coin

The India Government Mint, Hyderabad, has commenced bookings for the ₹100 commemorative coin on 2550th Bhagwan Mahaveer Nirvan Mahotsav starting from April 22nd, 2024, and it is subject to limited availability. The ₹100 coin is presently available in Proof, housed in MDF/Wooden Box packaging priced at ₹4,540. It is worth noting that Proof coins have been exclusively issued in MDF/Wooden Box packaging for the past couple of themes. However, bookings for the Proof Set and UNC Set with Folder/Blister packaging were never opened. The metal composition of the ₹100 coin consists of a Quaternary Alloy, comprising 50% Silver, 40% Copper, 5% Nickel, and 5% Zinc. The coin weighs 35 grams and has a diameter of 44 mm, featuring 200 serrations along the edge. The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, inaugurated the 2550th Bhagwan Mahaveer Nirvan Mahotsav and released the ₹100 commemorative coin and postal stamp on the auspicious occasion of Mahaveer Jayanti today, on 21st April at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.
