The ₹100 coin is currently available in Proof with MDF/Wooden Box packaging, while bookings for the Proof Set and UNC Set with Folder/Blister packaging have not yet opened. The ₹100 coin in the Proof Set with MDF/Wooden Box packaging is priced at ₹4,750. During the 100th Foundation Day Celebrations of Karnataka Bank at TMA Pai Convention Centre, Mangaluru, on February 18, 2024, the Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka, Shri D. K. The Government of India will issue a ₹100  commemorative coin  to mark the Centenary Year of Karnataka Bank . The Ministry of Finance issued a gazette notification on December 29, 2023, confirming this coin. Karnataka Bank, incorporated on 18 February 1924, stands as a venerable financial institution with a rich history of service and commitment. Headquartered in Mangaluru, Karnataka, this leading private sector bank has evolved over the years to become a trusted name in the Indian banking sector. The metal composition of the ₹100 coin will consist of a Quaternary Alloy, comprising 50% Silver, 40% Copper, 5% Nickel, and 5% Zinc.
