Hyderabad Mint Lists ₹100 NTR Commemorative Coin Executive Set

The India Government Mint, Hyderabad has listed the executive set featuring the two ₹100  commemorative coins issued on Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao. The bookings commenced on August 6, 2026, and the set is being offered in limited quantities. Earlier, on August 28, 2023, the Hon'ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, released the ₹100  commemorative coin  to mark the  Birth Centennial Year of Shri Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao , popularly known as NTR, at Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi.  The following day, on August 29, 2023, the India Government Mint, Hyderabad, opened bookings for the Proof and Uncirculated (UNC) coin sets in both folder and MDF packaging. The executive set closely resembles the one released by the Hon'ble President of India, with only a few minor changes. The India Government Mint, Kolkata has opened bookings for a few more commemorative coin sets that were originally issued on earlier occasions and are now being offered as reissues. Bookings commenced on July 23, 2026, and are subject to limited availability. The newly listed reissues include the ₹100 Proof Coin Set issued in honour of Sant Shiromani Jainacharya Vidyasagar Mahamuniraj , priced at ₹8,279 in Folder (Blister) packaging, and the ₹60 Proof Coin Set issued to mark the Diamond Jubilee of Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani , priced at ₹8,374 in Booklet packaging. It is worth noting that the MDF box packaging for both commemorative themes was never offered through the India Government Mint's official website . The Ministry of Finance issued a gazette notification on July 9, 2026, confirming this coin. Param Pujniya Mata Sahib Hassi Devi was a revered spiritual leader of the Shadani Darbar in Sindh, remembered for her deep devotion, compassion, and selfless service. She assumed the spiritual leadership of the Darbar in 1852 and dedicated her life to prayer, charity, and the welfare of devotees. The India Government Mint, Kolkata has commenced bookings for several commemorative coin sets issued earlier on different occasions, now being offered as re-strikes. The bookings opened today, June 15, 2026, and are subject to limited availability. These coin sets are being issued as restrikes in Proof Set with booklet packaging. However, all themes have been uniformly priced at ₹8,953, even though several issues, such as the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad and Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) commemorative coins, are struck in lower-specification quaternary alloys and measure only 39 mm in diameter with a weight of 22.5 grams. The India Government Mint, Mumbai has started the bookings for the ₹75  commemorative coin issued to mark the 10 Years of Pradhan Mantri Surakshit Matritva Abhiyan (PMSMA) . The bookings are open from today, June 9, 2026, and are subject to limited availability. Earlier today, the Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda, released the commemorative coin and a postage stamp to mark the occasion in New Delhi. The ₹75 coin is currently available in a Proof Set presented in a booklet package, priced at ₹1,700.  This ₹75 coin marks the fifth nickel silver commemorative coin issued and the first-ever ₹75 denomination struck in this base-metal composition.
