The Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, released a ₹125  commemorative coin  and a postal stamp to mark the  125th Birth Anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose  at the inaugural function of the ‘Parakram Diwas’ celebrations held at Victoria Memorial, Kolkata, on January 23, 2021. The occasion was graced by the Governor of West Bengal, Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar, the Chief Minister of West Bengal, Smt. Mamata Banerjee, Union Ministers Shri Prahlad Patel and Shri Babul Supriyo, close relatives of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, and the valiant members of the Azad Hind Fauj whose contributions have eternally elevated the nation’s pride. The Government of India will issue a  commemorative coin  of ₹125 to mark the ' 125th Birth Anniversary Year of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose .' The Ministry of Finance issued the gazette notification on January 20, 2021, officially confirming the release of the coin. The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, will be present at the inauguration of the 'Parakram Diwas' celebrations on January 23, 2021, commemorating the 125th Birth Anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose at the Victoria Memorial in Kolkata. The event will feature the unveiling of a permanent exhibition, a Projection Mapping Show highlighting Netaji, and the inauguration of a commemorative coin and postage stamp.  The  metal composition  of the ₹125 coin will consist of a Quaternary Alloy, comprising 50% Silver, 40% Copper, 5% Nickel, and 5% Zinc.
