The Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh released the  ₹75  commemorative coin  and a postage stamp on 75th Republic Day Celebrations  while  felicitating the ‘Super-100’ winners of Project Veer Gatha 3.0, in the presence of Education Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, in New Delhi on January 25, 2024. Shri Rajnath Singh said: “There was a time when as a nation we had limited resources and we were not able to pay proper attention to our youth. This scenario has now changed. Today, the youth, who wish to fly high, have an open sky of aspirations. The Government of India will issue a ₹75  commemorative coin  to mark the occasion of the 75th Republic Day celebrations . The Ministry of Finance issued a gazette notification on January 23, 2024, confirming the release of this coin. India is gearing up for the momentous celebration of its 75th Republic Day on January 26, 2024, a significant milestone in the nation's history. At the heart of the Republic Day festivities is the impressive Republic Day Parade, held on Kartavya Path in New Delhi. This grand event showcases India's military prowess, featuring marching contingents from all three branches of the armed forces, spectacular displays of military equipment, and thrilling performances by motorcycle teams. The  metal composition  of the ₹75 coin will consist of Pure Silver (99.9%). The coin will weigh 40 grams and have a diameter of 44 mm, featuring 200 serrations along the edge.
