The Chief Minister of Assam, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, virtually released a  commemorative coin  set comprising denominations of ₹100, ₹50, and ₹10, minted in honour of  Srimat Swami Pranavanandaji Maharaj  of Bharat Sevashram Sangha. This momentous occasion took place at the closing ceremony of the "Quincentennial Birth Anniversary Celebration of the Sangha founder Srimat Swami Pranavanandaji Maharaj" at ITA Machkhowa Complex in Guwahati on Saturday, July 23, 2022. The Government of India will be issuing a Rs 250 commemorative coin to celebrate the 250th Birth Centenary of Raja Ram Mohan Roy . The Ministry of Finance has issued the gazette notification on 4th July 2022 confirming the same. Ram Mohan Roy (22 May 1772 – 27 September 1833) was an Indian reformer who was one of the founders of the Brahmo Sabha in 1828, the precursor of the Brahmo Samaj, a social-religious reform movement in the Indian subcontinent. He was given the title of Raja by Akbar II, the Mughal emperor. His influence was apparent in the fields of politics, public administration, education and religion. He was known for his efforts to abolish the practices of sati and child marriage. Roy is considered to be the "Father of the Bengal Renaissance" by many historians. The metal composition of the coin will be  Quaternary Alloy  (50% Silver, 40% Copper, 5% Nickel and 5% Zinc). The weight of the coin will be 35 grams and 44 mm in diameter with 200 serrations at the edge.

The India Government Mint, Kolkata has opened the advanced bookings of the second coloured Panchatantra souvenir sets with story-tale ' The Crow and The Snake .'
