The India Government Mint, Kolkata has opened the advanced bookings of ₹100 commemorative coin issued on  Harcourt Butler Technical University, Kanpur .  The booking period for the coin is open from 10-December-2021 to 31-March-2022. Earlier, on November 25, 2021, the President, Shri Ram Nath Kovind, released the commemorative coin during the centenary celebrations of Harcourt Butler Technical University at Kanpur. The Proof Coin Set is priced at ₹4461, while the UNC set is available at ₹4140. The pricing for both the Proof and UNC sets has seen an increase of approximately 35 percent when compared to the recent bookings for the ₹125 commemorative coin of Srila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada . These coins are accessible either at the Mint Premises or through the official website of the India Government Mint. The Government of India will be issuing ₹100  commemorative coin  on occasion of ' Harcourt Butler Technical University Kanpur Centenary Celebrations '. The Ministry of Finance issued the gazette notification on November 18, 2021, confirming the coin. The President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind will visit Uttar Pradesh (Kanpur) to grace and address the centenary celebrations of Harcourt Butler Technical University on November 25, 2021.  The metal composition of the ₹100 coin will consist of a Quaternary Alloy, comprising 50% Silver, 40% Copper, 5% Nickel, and 5% Zinc. The coin will weigh 35 grams and have a diameter of 44 mm, featuring 200 serrations along the edge. The coin's description is as follows.
