Shri Arjun Meghwal Releases ₹150 coin of Shrimad Vijay Vallabh Suri

The Minister of State for Culture Shri Arjun Meghwal released the ₹150 commemorative coin   along with the postage stamp on occasion of 153rd Birth Anniversary of Shrimad Vijay Vallabh Suri at Vallabh Smarak Jain Mandir Tirth, New Delhi. The Prime Minister, Narendra Modi addressed the gathering on the occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of Shri Vijay Vallabh Surishwar Ji via video message today. Addressing the gathering, the Prime Minister bowed before bearers of the saint tradition in India, and all the believers of the Jain faith across the world. Shri Modi expressed delight upon getting the opportunity to be in the company of numerous saints and seek their blessings. New Commemorative Coin: Shri Ram Chandra Ji

The Government of India will be issuing a Rs 150 commemorative coin on occasion of  150th Birth Anniversary of Shri Ram Chandra Ji . The Ministry of Finance has issued the gazette notification today confirming the same. Ram Chandra (Lalaji) (1873 - 1931) was a spiritual guide from Fatehgarh Uttar Pradesh India. He was popularly known as "Lalaji" among his followers. He is said to have re-discovered the ancient Indian system of transmission called "Pranahuti" (offering of Prana) which is often referred to as “Pranasya Prana” (Life of Life) in the practice of meditation. After his passing, his disciples started many spiritual organization "Shri Ram Chandra Mission". The metal composition of the coin will be  Quaternary Alloy  (50% Silver, 40% Copper, 5% Nickel and 5% Zinc). The Ministry of Finance has issued the gazette notification today confirming the same. Earlier on 16th November 2020, The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, unveiled ‘Statue of Peace’ to mark the 151st Birth Anniversary celebrations of Jainacharya Shree Vijay Vallabh Surishwer Ji Maharaj, via video conferencing. The Statue unveiled in the honour of the Jain acharya, has been named as ‘Statue of Peace’.  The metal composition of the coin will be  Quaternary Alloy  (50% Silver, 40% Copper, 5% Nickel and 5% Zinc). The weight of the coin will be 35 grams and 44 mm in diameter with 200 serrations at the edge. The India Government Mint, Kolkata has issued the second silver coloured souvenir coin on the ongoing T20 Cricket World Cup 2022 . The metal composition of the souvenir coin will be Fine Silver (.999). The weight of the coin will be 40 grams and comes with 44 mm in diameter. PM Modi Releases ₹100 coin on 90th Interpol General Assembly

The Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi released the ₹100 commemorative coin along with the postage stamp on 90th Interpol General Assembly while addressing the event today at  Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. Addressing the gathering, the Prime Minister extended a warm welcome to all the dignitaries on the occasion of the 90th Interpol General Assembly, the Prime Minister highlighted that India is celebrating 75 years of its independence which is a celebration of people and cultures. The Prime Minister also informed that Interpol will be celebrating 100 years of its inception in the year 2023. He remarked that it is a time for retrospection as well as a time to decide the future. The Government of India will be issuing a Rs 100 commemorative coin on occasion of 90th Interpol General Assembly held from 18th to 21st October 2022. The Ministry of Finance has issued the gazette notification on 14th October 2022 confirming the same. International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) is the world's largest international police organisation headquartered in Lyon, France with 195 member countries. India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the 90th Interpol General Assembly on 18th October 2022 in New Delhi.  The metal composition of the coin will be  Quaternary Alloy  (50% Silver, 40% Copper, 5% Nickel and 5% Zinc). The weight of the coin will be 35 grams and 44 mm in diameter with 200 serrations at the edge.
