The India Government Mint has set new rules by implementing a one order per person policy on its official e-commerce portal. This move has been widely welcomed by collectors, as most of the recent bookings were reportedly being blocked by dealers who created a black market by purchasing large quantities and reselling them at inflated prices.  By introducing this restriction, the Mint aims to ensure that every genuine collector gets an equal opportunity to own the newly issued commemorative coins . It is now mandatory to furnish a PAN (Permanent Account Number) to buy coins on the India Government Mint’s online portal.
