Govt Might Issue a ₹75 Coin on Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav

The Government of India has already notified on issuing the circulating coins of  ₹1, ₹2, ₹5, ₹10 and ₹20 on occasion of  75th Year of Independence . As per the recent Mint Numismatic Meet 2022 held on 12th March 2022 at India Government Mint, Mumbai, there might be a ₹75 non-circulating coin introduced for collectors, in addition to the circulating coins. These coins are scheduled for release on 15th August 2022 by our Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is an initiative of the Government of India to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of independence and the illustrious history of its people, culture, and achievements. New Commemorative Coin: University of Delhi

The Government of India will be issuing a ₹100 commemorative coin to mark the ' Centenary Year of University of Delhi .'   The University of Delhi, informally known as Delhi University, is set to celebrate its 100 years, with festivities commencing on May 1, 2022. Announcing a myriad of initiatives on March 3, Vice-Chancellor Shri Yogesh Singh highlighted that at the core of the celebrations is the idea of honoring the unsung heroes of Delhi University, individuals who have made significant contributions to the development of the country from the pre-independence era to the present times. As part of the celebrations, a commemorative coin and stamp will be launched. The Vice-Chancellor also unveiled the centenary logo and tagline of the university, selected through a competition.
