The India Government Mint, Mumbai, has started bookings for silver  souvenir token  on Maryada Purushottam Prabhu Shree Ram ahead of the festival of Ram Navami. The bookings commenced on March 10, 2026, and will remain open subject to limited availability. The India Government Mint, Kolkata has issued the second silver coloured souvenir coin on the ongoing T20 Cricket World Cup 2022 . The metal composition of the souvenir coin will be Fine Silver (.999). The weight of the coin will be 40 grams and comes with 44 mm in diameter. The description of the coin is as below.  Obverse:   The face of the souvenir coin shall bear the logo of  SPMCIL (Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Limited) with the legend "भारत सरकार टकसाल" in Hindi and "India Government Mint" in English with the year mentioned as 2022. The Mumbai Mint has issued Gold and Silver Souvenir tokens on occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi festival held on 31st August 2022. Earlier in 2019, Mumbai Mint has issued a festival souvenir only in Silver. The obverse side has the ॐ (OM) in the middle, Logo of SPMCIL (Security Printing & Minting Corporation of India Ltd below, weight and metal certification. At the reverse side, Image of Lord Ganesh.  The Gold souvenirs has been issued with 5 grams and 10 grams, whereas the Silver souvenir are issued in 10 grams, 20 grams and 40 grams. The 5 grams gold souvenir is priced at ₹29,899 and 10 grams gold souvenir is priced at ₹58,682, these prices are as on 23rd August 2022 and may differ upon the Gold prices. The India Government Mint, Kolkata, inaugurated the second coloured souvenir token in the Panchatantra Series by showcasing the famous tale “ The Crow and The Snake ” at an exclusive exhibition on the “Evolution of Indian Currency.”  The exhibition was organised by the Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Limited (SPMCIL) and held at the Currency Note Press, Nashik, from June 8 to 10, 2022. The souvenir token is made of Nickel Silver, weighing 32 grams and measuring 44 mm in diameter. The obverse features the coloured SPMCIL logo along with the year, while the reverse depicts a scene from the Panchatantra tale “The Crow and The Snake,” surrounded by the corresponding legend. The Union Finance Minister Smt.
