Kolkata Mint Opens Bookings for Srila Prabhupada Coin

The India Government Mint, Kolkata has opened the advanced bookings of ₹125 commemorative coin issued on Srila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. The booking period for the coin is open from 7th September 2021 to 31st March 2022. 


On September 1, 2021, Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the commemorative coin via video conference to mark the 125th Birth Anniversary of Srila A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the Founder-Acharya of Iskcon.

The commemorative coin is available in Folder/Blister packaging, priced at ₹3,297/- for the Proof set and ₹3,063/- for the UNC set.

These coins can be obtained either at the Mint Premises or through the official website of the India Government Mint. You can find further details and updates in the "Current and Upcoming Bookings" section for your reference and convenience.

RBI Coin Sets Now Available at India Govt Mint's Delhi Counter

The ₹90  commemorative coin  issued to celebrate the  90 Years of Reserve Bank of India  (RBI) is now available at the Sales Counter at India Government Mint's Corporate Office in New Delhi. The ₹90 coin, featured in the Proof Set and offered in Folder/Blister packaging, is priced at ₹4950 as of April 18, 2024. However, online bookings for the commemorative coin have not yet begun, and there may be a difference in online pricing. It's important to note that the  metal composition  of this ₹90 coin is Pure Silver (99.9%), weighing 40 grams with a diameter of 44 mm. It also features 200 serrations along the edge. The ₹90 is minted by India Government Mint, Kolkata.
