2024 - 3rd Numismatic Exhibit: Proof and UNC Sets

Exhibiting a selection of Proof and UNC coin sets from the Republic of India collection at the 15th National Numismatic Exhibition, held from February 23rd to 25th, 2024, at Shikshak Sadan, KG Road, Opp Kaveri Bhavan, Nagarathpete, Majestic, Bengaluru 560002, was an immense privilege.

The National Numismatic Exhibition (NNE), organized by Marudhar Arts, India's Leading Numismatic Auction House, serves as an annual cornerstone event in India. This comprehensive exhibition encompasses coins, paper money, and philately, featuring live auctions and academic sessions. It has been a prominent fixture in the IT Capital since its inception in 2011.

The opportunity to showcase a selection of Proof and UNC coin sets from the Republic of India, along with their release details, during this three-day exhibition is indeed significant. Additionally, demonstrating the use of acrylic cases for preserving coin sets during display at the exhibition provided valuable opinions and insights from fellow collectors and senior numismatists.

Heartfelt gratitude is extended to Mr. Rajendra Maru and the entire Marudhar Arts team for generously affording the chance to exhibit collections. This experience has been personally fulfilling and has ignited a heightened enthusiasm for ongoing participation in upcoming exhibitions.

The Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi released a ₹200 commemorative coin on Shree Swaminarayan Mandir in Vadtal today, on November 11, 2024 through video conferencing.
