2024 - Shri Ram Chandra Ji, Shahjahanpur | Commemorative Coin

The 9th commemorative coin of 2024 was released to mark the 125th Birth Anniversary of Shri Ram Chandra Ji of Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh.

Shri Ram Chandra Ji of Shahjahanpur, widely revered as Lalaji Maharaj, was a distinguished spiritual leader and founder of the Ramakrishna Math, Shahjahanpur branch and the Shri Ram Chandra Mission, commonly associated with the practice of Sahaj Marg or “Natural Path” of meditation. Born in 1899 in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh, Lalaji dedicated his life to spiritual upliftment, moral guidance, and the practical application of meditation to daily life. He emphasized that spiritual practice should not be separate from ordinary living but integrated seamlessly into one’s routine, allowing individuals to achieve inner transformation while fulfilling worldly responsibilities.

Shri Ram Chandra Ji developed a meditation system that focused on the heart as the seat of spiritual awakening, promoting love, self-discipline, and ethical conduct as essential components of personal growth. Mumbai Mint Commences Bookings for BSG Coin Sets

The India Government Mint, Mumbai, has commenced the bookings for the ₹75  commemorative coin  issued to mark the Diamond Jubilee of the Bharat Scouts and Guides . The bookings are open from today, December 24, 2025, and it is subject to limited availability. Earlier on November 24, 2025, the Hon'ble Governor of Uttar Pradesh, Smt. Anandiben Patel, released a ₹75 coin and a postal stamp to mark the occasion while inaugurating the 19th National Jamboree of the Bharat Scouts and Guides, in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.  The ₹75 coin is available in both Proof and UNC sets, presented in a folder/blister pack. Additionally, the Proof Set is also available in an MDF box package. The Proof Set is priced at ₹6,667 and the UNC Set at ₹6,503, both offered in folder/blister packaging.
