Kolkata Mint Opens Bookings for Rajchandra and Deendayal Coin Sets

The India Government Mint, Kolkata, has started accepting bookings for the commemorative coins issued to mark the 150th Birth Anniversary of Shrimad Rajchandra and Birth Centenary of Pandit Deendayal Upadyaya. The booking period commenced on February 16, 2018, and will continue until March 31, 2018.


These sets, which garnered considerable interest among collectors at the time of their release, are now available for a limited period—offering an excellent opportunity for enthusiasts to add them to their collections.

Both commemorative themes are being offered in Proof and UNC (Uncirculated) versions, each presented in an elegant Folder or Blister packaging designed for durability and enhanced display value.

The Shrimad Rajchandra set, featuring denominations of ₹150 and ₹10, is priced at ₹2,735 for the Proof Set and ₹2,372 for the UNC Set.

For the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya set, comprising denominations of ₹100 and ₹5, the pricing is ₹2,734 for the Proof Set and ₹2,374 for the UNC Set.

Kolkata Mint Commences Bookings for RSS Coin Sets

The India Government Mint, Kolkata, has commenced the bookings for the ₹100  commemorative coin  issued to mark the 100 Years of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). The bookings are open from October 7, 2025, and it is subject to limited availability. Earlier, on October 1, 2025, the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, unveiled the commemorative coin along with a special postal stamp to mark the event at Dr. Ambedkar International Centre in New Delhi. The ₹100 coin is currently available in the Proof Set, packaged with a booklet pack.
