Govt Might Issue a ₹75 Coin on Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav

The Government of India has already notified on issuing the circulating coins of  ₹1, ₹2, ₹5, ₹10 and ₹20 on occasion of  75th Year of Independence . As per the recent Mint Numismatic Meet 2022 held on 12th March 2022 at India Government Mint, Mumbai, there might be a ₹75 non-circulating coin introduced for collectors, in addition to the circulating coins. These coins are scheduled for release on 15th August 2022 by the Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is an initiative of the Government of India to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of independence and the illustrious history of its people, culture, and achievements. The Government of India is set to issue a ₹100 commemorative coin to mark the Centenary Year of the University of Delhi , celebrating a century of academic excellence and contributions to India’s educational and cultural landscape.  The University, widely known as Delhi University, will officially begin its centenary celebrations on May 1, 2022, with a series of events and initiatives planned throughout the year.
