Kolkata Mint Opens Bookings for Panchatantra Coloured Souvenir

The India Government Mint, Kolkata has opened the bookings of the first coloured souvenir coin issued on  Panchatantra - The Foolish Lion and The Clever  Rabbit .  The booking period is from February 27, 2022, to March 31, 2022, or until stocks last. The souvenir proof coin comes with an attractive package and an appealing price of ₹1093. Earlier this month, Union Finance Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman launched the souvenir coin on the occasion of the 17th Foundation Day of SPMCIL (Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Limited). The said color souvenir is available at Kolkata Mint's  Counter Sale  at Mint Premises as well as on the official website of India Government Mint. Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman Launches First Colour Souvenir Coin on "Panchatantra"

The Union Finance Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman, presiding over the event via virtual mode, launched the inaugural colour souvenir coin on " Panchatantra ." marking the 17th Foundation Day program of Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Limited (SPMCIL). The ceremony was attended by the Secretary of the Department of Economic Affairs (DEA), Ministry of Finance (MoF), Senior Economic Advisor of DEA, MoF, and other senior officials from the Ministry. Also present were the Director (HR) and Director (Finance) of SPMCIL. Ms. Tripti Patra Ghosh, CMD, SPMCIL, in her welcome address, highlighted the Company’s achievements and its various innovative initiatives. Kolkata Mint Opens Booking for Kavi Muddana Coin Sets

The India Government Mint, Kolkata has opened the advanced bookings for the ₹150 commemorative coin issued on the 150th Birth Anniversary of Kavi Muddana . The booking period is from February 10, 2022, to March 31, 2022. The ₹150 commemorative coin in the Proof Set is priced at ₹4263, whereas the UNC Set is available at ₹3941. As part of the 17th SPMCIL Foundation Day on 10th February, the India Government Mint has fully furnished the commemorative coin sales counters at their premises at Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad and at their Corporate Office, New Delhi for meeting the demands of its customers.
