Kolkata Mint Opens Booking for Kavi Muddana Coin

The India Government Mint, Kolkata has opened the advanced bookings for the ₹150 commemorative coin issued on the 150th Birth Anniversary of Kavi Muddana. The booking period is from February 10, 2022, to March 31, 2022.

The ₹150 commemorative coin in the Proof Set is priced at ₹4263, whereas the UNC Set is available at ₹3941.

As part of the 17th SPMCIL Foundation Day on 10th February, the India Government Mint has fully furnished the commemorative coin sales counters at their premises at Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad and at their Corporate Office, New Delhi for meeting the demands of its customers. The Governor of Karnataka, Shri Thaawarchand Gehlot, along with Jainacharya Shri Jin Piyush Sagar Surishwarji, will release commemorative coins and postage stamps to celebrate the 2900th Janm Kalyanak and 2800th Nirvan Kalyanak of the 23rd Tirthankara, Shri Parshvanath Bhagwan, at Bhopalgarh, District Jodhpur, Rajasthan, on December 25, 2024.
