Kolkata Mint Opens Booking for Kavi Muddana Coin Sets

The India Government Mint, Kolkata has opened the advanced bookings for the ₹150 commemorative coin issued on the 150th Birth Anniversary of Kavi Muddana. The booking period is from February 10, 2022, to March 31, 2022.

The ₹150 commemorative coin in the Proof Set is priced at ₹4263, whereas the UNC Set is available at ₹3941.

As part of the 17th SPMCIL Foundation Day on 10th February, the India Government Mint has fully furnished the commemorative coin sales counters at their premises at Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad and at their Corporate Office, New Delhi for meeting the demands of its customers. The 'Current and Upcoming Bookings' section has been updated for your reference and information.

Mumbai Mint Commences Bookings for BSG Coin Sets

The India Government Mint, Mumbai, has commenced the bookings for the ₹75  commemorative coin  issued to mark the Diamond Jubilee of the Bharat Scouts and Guides . The bookings are open from today, December 24, 2025, and it is subject to limited availability. Earlier on November 24, 2025, the Hon'ble Governor of Uttar Pradesh, Smt. Anandiben Patel, released a ₹75 coin and a postal stamp to mark the occasion while inaugurating the 19th National Jamboree of the Bharat Scouts and Guides, in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.  The ₹75 coin is available in both Proof and UNC sets, presented in a folder/blister pack. Additionally, the Proof Set is also available in an MDF box package. The Proof Set is priced at ₹6,667 and the UNC Set at ₹6,503, both offered in folder/blister packaging. Thirty Five Coins in 2025 with Endless Commemorative Themes

The year 2025 ended with record-breaking releases of commemorative coins , with the total number rising to 35 themes — the highest ever in the history of Republic India coinage. The year witnessed many unexpected themes, unique denominations, the introduction of colour coin, and a diverse range of metal compositions, including 15 coins struck in pure silver, 17 in the long-used silver alloy (quaternary alloy), and 3 in a newly introduced metal composition — nickel silver.
