Shri Ram Chandra Ji (Lalaji) Coin to be released on 2nd Feb 2023

The Government of India will be releasing the commemorative coin of Rs 150 and postage stamp as part of the 150th Birth Anniversary celebrations of the Adi Guru of Shri Ram Chandra Mission, Lalaji Maharaj at Kanha Shantivanam, SRCM Heartfulness Meditation Center World, Hyderabad on 2nd February 2023. Hon'ble Minister of State for Communications Shri Devusingh Fesingbhai Chauhan will be attending event to address the gathering. The week-long celebration has started from 25th January and ends on 3rd February, expected to have over 1,00,000 participants from different parts of the world and millions joining online. Kolkata Mint Opens Bookings for Shrimad Vijay Vallabh Suri Coins

The Kolkata Mint has opened the advanced booking for Proof and UNC coin in Blister/Folder packing sets of  Shrimad Vijay Vallabh Suri from 30-January-2023. The commemorative coins were released on 26-October-2022 by the  Minister of State for Culture Shri Arjun Meghwal at Vallabh Smarak Jain Mandir Tirth, New Delhi. PM Modi Releases ₹75 coin on National Cadet Corps (NCC)

The Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi released the ₹75  commemorative coin  along with the special day cover on the  occasion of  75 years of Raising of National Cadet Corps , while addressing the  NCC PM rally at the Cariappa Parade Ground in Delhi today . The National Cadet Corps (NCC) celebrated it's 75th year of its inception and the rally was held as a hybrid day and night event and included a cultural program on the theme ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’. PM Narendra Modi to release ₹75 coin at NCC Rally

The Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will be releasing the  ₹75 commemorative coin and a special day cover on the occasion of  75 years of Raising of National Cadet Corps , while addressing the  annual NCC PM rally at the Cariappa Parade Ground in Delhi on 28th January, 2023 at around 5:45 PM. This year, NCC is celebrating 75th year of its inception. The rally will be held as a hybrid day and night event and will also include a cultural program on the theme ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’. In the true Indian spirit of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, 196 officers and cadets from 19 foreign countries have been invited to be a part of the celebrations as per the Public Information Bureau.  Earlier on 25th January 2023,  The Ministry of Finance has issued the gazette notification about the  ₹75 denomination commemorative coin and was duly posted in this blog. New Commemorative Coin: National Cadet Corps

The Government of India will be issuing a Rs 75  commemorative coin  on occasion of  75 years of Raising of National Cadet Corps . The Ministry of Finance has issued the gazette notification today confirming the same. The National Cadet Corps (NCC) is the youth wing of the Indian Armed Forces with its headquarters in New Delhi, India. It is open to school and college students on voluntary basis as a Tri-Services Organisation, comprising the Army, the Navy and the Air Force, engaged in developing the youth of the country into disciplined and patriotic citizens. The emblem of the NCC consists of 3 colours; red, dark blue and light blue. These colours represent the Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force respectively. The 17 lotuses indicate the 17 directories of India The metal composition of the coin will be  Quaternary Alloy  (50% Silver, 40% Copper, 5% Nickel and 5% Zinc). The weight of the coin will be 35 grams and 44 mm in diameter with 200 serrations ...

Possible Themes on New Commemorative Coins for 2023

As we move ahead from 2022, There are few gazette notified commemorative coins of Shri Ram Chandra Ji (Lalaji) , Raja Ram Mohan Roy , Jawaharlal Darda   are scheduled to release in 2023. T he much delayed  Sri Satguru Ram Singh Ji  coin may also see the light this year. Apart from these, there are few potential themes where possible commemorative coins could be released by the Government of India in 2023. G20 Summit 2023 The 18th G20 Heads of State and Government Summit will take place on 9-10 September 2023 in New Delhi. The Summit will be a culmination of all the G20 processes and meetings held throughout the year among ministers, senior officials, and civil societies. A G20 Leaders’ Declaration will be adopted at the conclusion of the New Delhi Summit, stating Leaders’ commitment towards the priorities discussed and agreed upon during the respective ministerial and working group meetings.
