PM Modi to Release ₹75 coin at National Cadet Corps Rally

The Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will be releasing the ₹75 commemorative coin and a special day cover to mark the 75 years of Raising of National Cadet Corps, while addressing the annual NCC PM rally on January 28, 2023 at the Cariappa Parade Ground in New Delhi.

This year, NCC is celebrating 75th year of its inception. The rally will be held as a hybrid day and night event and will also include a cultural program on the theme ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’. In the true Indian spirit of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, 196 officers and cadets from 19 foreign countries have been invited to be a part of the celebrations as per the Public Information Bureau.

The Ministry of Finance issued the gazette notification on January 25, 2023. This will be the second commemorative coin of 2023, reportedly minted by the India Government Mint, Mumbai.

Hyderabad Mint Opens Bookings for Sri Sathya Sai Baba Coin Sets

The India Government Mint, Hyderabad, has opened the bookings for the ₹100  commemorative coin  issued to mark the  Birth Centenary of Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba . The bookings are open from November 19, 2025, and it is subject to limited availability. Earlier in the day, the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi released the commemorative coin and postage stamp to mark the event at Sri Sathya Sai Hill View Stadium, Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh. The Government of India will issue a ₹100  commemorative coin  to mark the ' Birth Centenary of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba '. The Ministry of Finance issued a gazette notification on April 22, 2025, confirming this coin. Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba was a revered spiritual leader and humanitarian, known for his teachings on love, unity of religions, and selfless service. Born in 1926 in Puttaparthi, India, he inspired millions through his message of "Love All, Serve All" and established numerous free hospitals, schools, and water projects to uplift humanity. His legacy continues to guide people worldwide in living a life of compassion, truth, and devotion. The  metal composition  of the ₹100 coin will consist of a Quaternary Alloy, comprising 50% Silver, 40% Copper, 5% Nickel, and 5% Zinc.
