Shri Ram Chandra Ji (Lalaji) Coin to be released on 2nd Feb 2023

The Government of India will be releasing the commemorative coin of Rs 150 and postage stamp as part of the 150th Birth Anniversary celebrations of the Adi Guru of Shri Ram Chandra Mission, Lalaji Maharaj at Kanha Shantivanam, SRCM Heartfulness Meditation Center World, Hyderabad on 2nd February 2023.

Hon'ble Minister of State for Communications Shri Devusingh Fesingbhai Chauhan will be attending event to address the gathering.

The week-long celebration has started from 25th January and ends on 3rd February, expected to have over 1,00,000 participants from different parts of the world and millions joining online.

Speaking on the occasion Kamlesh Patel 'Daaji' said, "This special occasion marks the 150th Birth Anniversary of Lalaji Maharaj by whose blessings the Shri Ram Chandra Mission is promoting the evolution of human consciousness and serving mankind".

Earlier in 25th October 2022, A gazette notification was issued by the Ministry of Finance about the release of ₹150 commemorative coin.

Update: The coin was issued on January 26, 2023, making it the first commemorative coin for 2023. The postage stamp, on the other hand, was issued on February 2, 2023.

The Government of India will issue a  commemorative coin  of ₹90 on occasion to mark the 90 Years of Celebration of Reserve Bank of India . RBI Coin Sets Now Available at India Govt Mint's Delhi Counter

The ₹90  commemorative coin  issued to celebrate the  90 Years of Reserve Bank of India  (RBI) is now available at the Sales Counter at India Government Mint's Corporate Office in New Delhi. The ₹90 coin, featured in the Proof Set and offered in Folder/Blister packaging, is priced at ₹4950 as of April 18, 2024. However, online bookings for the commemorative coin have not yet begun, and there may be a difference in online pricing. It's important to note that the  metal composition  of this ₹90 coin is Pure Silver (99.9%), weighing 40 grams with a diameter of 44 mm. It also features 200 serrations along the edge. The ₹90 is minted by India Government Mint, Kolkata.
