New Commemorative Coin: 10 Years of PMSMA
The Government of India will issue a ₹75 commemorative coin to mark the 1 0 years of the Pradhan Mantri Surakshit Matritva Abhiyan (PMSMA) . The Ministry of Finance issued a gazette notification on June 8, 2026, confirming this coin. The Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda, will release a ₹75 commemorative coin and a postage stamp on June 9, 2026 to commemorate “10 Years of PMSMA – A Decade of Care.” The event marks a decade of the successful implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Surakshit Matritva Abhiyan (PMSMA), a flagship initiative of the Government of India aimed at providing quality antenatal care, ensuring safe pregnancies, and promoting healthy motherhood across the nation.
