The primary mint for this commemorative coin is the India Government Mint, Kolkata. Due to the high demand for the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh coin from collectors, enthusiasts, RSS swayamsevaks, and supporters, this initiative might have been undertaken to cater to broader interest and ensure wider availability. Earlier, on October 7, 2025, the India Government Mint, Kolkata, commenced bookings for the ₹100 Proof Set at an initial price of ₹8,410, which was later revised to ₹10,212 and further increased to ₹10,788 due to the sharp rise in silver prices. The ₹100 coin is currently available in the Proof Set, packaged in a Kappa Box. It remains to be seen whether the Mumbai Mint will also issue the UNC Set or the Proof Set in an MDF box. The Ministry of Finance issued a gazette notification on September 30, 2025, confirming this coin.
