Hyderabad Mint to Open Bookings for NTR Coin

The India Government Mint, Hyderabad will be opening the bookings for  ₹100  commemorative coins  issued on occasion of  Birth Centennial Year of Shri Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao  popularly known as NTR in  Proof and UNC sets with Folder/Blister and MDF/Wooden in Proof package  from 29-August-2023.  The  ₹100 NTR Folder/Blister coin set comes in two different packages with two different variants of each package in both Proof and UNC sets as displayed at the India Govt Mint's website. The two different packages are brown and yellow in coloured with optional variants as Telugu + English and Hindi + English printed booklets. The Proof Set is priced at ₹4380 and the UNC Set is priced at ₹4050 for all the Folder/Blister variants package. President Murmu Releases ₹100 N.T. Rama Rao Coin

The President of India Smt. Droupadi Murmu released the ₹100  commemorative coin  today on occasion of  Birth Centennial Year of Shri Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao  popularly known as NTR at Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi. The Rashtrapati Bhavan had extended invitations to only 100 guests, including members of NTR’s family. Speaking on the occasion, the President said that Late Shri NT Rama Rao has enriched Indian cinema and culture through Telugu films. He breathed life into the prominent characters of Ramayana and Mahabharata through his acting. The characters of Lord Rama and Lord Krishna played by him became so alive that people started worshiping NTR. She noted that NTR also expressed the pain of the common people through his acting. He spread the message of social justice and equality through one of his films 'Manushulanta Okkate' i.e. All human beings are equal. The Kolkata Mint and Hyderabad Mint has opened the bookings of  souvenir tokens  on occasion of upcoming festivals 'Raksha Bandhan', 'Onam' and 'Shri Krishna Janmashtami'  from 18th August 2023. The Kolkata Mint  souvenirs issued for  ''Raksha Bandhan' in two different designs priced at ₹4119 for 50 gms silver token and ₹1765 for 20 gms silver token . The gold souvenir too comes with two designs priced at ₹32348 for 5 gms token and ₹16239 for 2.5 gms token . The  Kolkata Mint  souvenirs issued for  '' Janmashtami' ' at ₹4119 for 50 gms silver token and ₹1765 for 20 gms silver token. The gold souvenir for " Janmashtami " is priced at ₹32348 for 5 grams. GOI to issue ₹1000 coin on Khartargachha Sahastrabdi Mahotsav

The Government of India has given consent to issue a ₹1000 commemorative coin on the occasion of 1000th year celebration of Shvetambara Khartargachha Sangh . Shri Om Prakash Sakhlecha, Cabinet Minister - MSME, Science & Technology Dept. Minister, Government of Madhya Pradesh shared the above letter on social media by expressing his gratitude to Shri Pankaj Chaudhary, Minister of State for Finance of India and Government of India on behalf of Jain Samajjans. He further stated that the commemorative coin will not only be a part of an existing ceremony, but will also inspire us towards our rich historical heritage and our religious and cultural heritage. Kolkata Mint Opens Bookings for G20 Coins

The India Government Mint, Kolkata has opened the bookings for  ₹75 and ₹100  commemorative coins  issued on occasion of  India's G20 Presidency  in  Proof and UNC sets with Folder/Blister package and Proof Sets with MDF Boxes  from 16-August-2023 with limited quantity. The  ₹75 and  ₹100 Proof set in MDF Box is priced at ₹7145, while the Proof Set in HD Plastic Box is priced at ₹6963. The  ₹75 and  ₹100 in Folder/Blister package comes only in Single Coin Proof Set priced at ₹3343 each. The Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi released the commemorative coins and postage stamps on India's G20 Presidency while inaugurating the IECC (International Exhibition-cum-Convention Centre) in Pragati Maidan, Delhi on 26-July-2023. President to Release the NTR ₹100 Coin on 28th August 2023

The Honorable President of India Smt. Droupadi Murmu will be releasing the much awaited commemorative coin of Birth Centennial Year of Shri Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao  popularly known as NTR on 28th August 2023 at Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi. Attached the invitation above by Smt. Daggubati Purnandeshwari (Daughter of NTR), Former Minister of Education of India and State President of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (28 May 1923 – 18 January 1996), often referred to by his initials NTR, was an Indian actor, filmmaker and politician who served as Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh for seven years over three terms. He starred in over 300 films, predominantly in Telugu cinema, and was referred by the media as Viswa Vikhyatha Nata Sarwa Bhouma (transl. Universal star of acting). Mumbai Mint issues New Festival Souvenir Tokens

The Mumbai Mint opened the bookings of  souvenir tokens  in Gold and Silver on occasion of upcoming festivals ' Raksha Bandhan ', ' Onam ' and ' Shri Krishna Janmashtami '  from 5th August 2023.  The souvenirs for  ' Onam ' and ' Shri Krishna Janmashtami ' are issued in 5 grams Gold token and 20 Grams silver token. The Gold token is priced at ₹34,089.34, while the Silver token is priced at ₹1959.86. The ' Raksha Bandhan ' is a coloured souvenir issued in 40 grams silver priced at ₹4291.55.  The souvenir comes in beautiful designed Folder/Blister packs and is a perfect way for gifting purpose to your loved ones.
