Kolkata Mint and Hyderabad Mint issues New Festival Souvenir Tokens

The Kolkata Mint and Hyderabad Mint has opened the bookings of souvenir tokens on occasion of upcoming festivals 'Raksha Bandhan', 'Onam' and 'Shri Krishna Janmashtami' from 18th August 2023.

The Kolkata Mint souvenirs issued for ''Raksha Bandhan' in two different designs priced at ₹4119 for 50 gms silver token and ₹1765 for 20 gms silver token. The gold souvenir too comes with two designs priced at ₹32348 for 5 gms token and ₹16239 for 2.5 gms token.

The Kolkata Mint souvenirs issued for ''Janmashtami'' at ₹4119 for 50 gms silver token and ₹1765 for 20 gms silver token. The gold souvenir for "Janmashtami" is priced at ₹32348 for 5 grams. However, the 'Onam' souvenir is issued only in 50 gms silver token priced at ₹4119.

The Hyderabad Mint souvenirs issued for ''Raksha Bandhan' and 'Onam' only in Silver 10 gms token priced at ₹1100. 

Earlier, Mumbai Mint issued 20 gms and 40 gms silver and 5 gms gold souvenirs with the similar theme. 

The souvenir tokens are available at respective Mint Premises as well as at the India Govt. Mint official website. Please note that the prices are subject to change upon the bullion value and the above pricing are as on 21st August 2023.

RBI Coin Sets Now Available at India Govt Mint's Delhi Counter

The ₹90  commemorative coin  issued to celebrate the  90 Years of Reserve Bank of India  (RBI) is now available at the Sales Counter at India Government Mint's Corporate Office in New Delhi. The ₹90 coin, featured in the Proof Set and offered in Folder/Blister packaging, is priced at ₹4950 as of April 18, 2024. However, online bookings for the commemorative coin have not yet begun, and there may be a difference in online pricing. It's important to note that the  metal composition  of this ₹90 coin is Pure Silver (99.9%), weighing 40 grams with a diameter of 44 mm. It also features 200 serrations along the edge. The ₹90 is minted by India Government Mint, Kolkata.
