2004 - Rs 5 Mudra Series Pattern in Bi-Metallic

The definitive coin series was undergoing a revamp, for the first time the coin design were done outside India Government Mint by National Institute of Design (NID). The pattern coin design was definitely in line with the proposed design of “Nritiya Mudra Series”. However, there was no corresponding news of Rs 5 being struck or experimented with Bi-Metallic.

The coin was auctioned at Classical Numismatic Gallery, graded by PCGS estimating Rs 75,000 to Rs 80,000.
