President Murmu Unveils ₹75 coin on National Defence Academy

The Hon’ble President Smt. Droupadi Murmu reviewed the Passing Out Parade of the 145th Course of the National Defence Academy (NDA) and released the commemorative coin along with a postage stamp and a First Day Cover (FDC) to mark the 75 Glorious Years of the National Defence Academy at NDA, Khadakwasla, Pune, today.

The National Defence Academy (NDA) proudly marks its '75 Glorious Years' on January 16, 2024. To celebrate this milestone, a year-long series of commemorative activities highlighting its achievements across various domains will be held from January 19, 2023, to January 16, 2024.

The ₹75 coin, unveiled today, is minted by the India Government Mint, Hyderabad. This release marks the issuance of the 16th commemorative coin for the year 2023 and the 3rd commemorative coin from Hyderabad Mint after 50 Years of Project Tiger and the Centennial Birth Year of Shri N.T.
