Droupadi Murmu reviewed the Passing Out Parade of the 145th Course of the National Defence Academy (NDA) and released the commemorative coin along with a postage stamp and a First Day Cover (FDC) to mark the 75 Glorious Years of the National Defence Academy at NDA, Khadakwasla, Pune, today. The National Defence Academy (NDA) proudly marks its '75 Glorious Years' on January 16, 2024. To celebrate this milestone, a year-long series of commemorative activities highlighting its achievements across various domains will be held from January 19, 2023, to January 16, 2024. Kolkata Mint Opens Bookings for Rani Durgavati Coin Sets

The India Government Mint, Kolkata, has started accepting bookings for the ₹500 commemorative coin issued to mark the 500th Birth Anniversary of Rani Durgavati . The booking period began on November 25, 2023, and is subject to limited availability. The ₹500 coin, available in Folder/Blister packaging within the Proof Set, is priced at ₹5,554, while the UNC Set and Proof Set with the MDF/Wooden Box are still yet to open for booking. PM Modi Unveils ₹525 Coin in Honour of Saint Meera Bai

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, unveiled a  commemorative coin  of ₹525, along with a postage stamp, to mark the  525th Birth Anniversary of Saint Meera Bai  during his participation in the ‘Sant Mirabai Janmotsav’ in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on 23rd November 2023. The program also marked the initiation of year-long programs in memory of Sant Mirabai. Mumbai Mint Open Bookings for National Technology Day Coins

The booking period commenced on November 22, 2023, and will continue until December 30, 2023. The National Technology Day coins are issued in Proof and UNC sets in Folder/Blister packages and Proof Sets with MDF Boxes. The ₹100 coin in the Proof Set is priced at ₹4,015, while the UNC Set is available at ₹3,495 for the Folder/Blister package. For those interested in the Proof Set with the MDF Box, it is priced at ₹4,465. The Government of India will issue a  commemorative coin  of ₹525 to mark the occasion of 525th Birth Anniversary of Saint Meera Bai . The Ministry of Finance issued a gazette notification on November 21, 2023, confirming this event. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will participate in the ‘Sant Mirabai Janmotsav’ - a program being organized to celebrate the 525th Birth Anniversary of Saint Mirabai in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on 23rd November, 2023, at around 4:30 PM.
