The Ministry of Finance issued a gazette notification on November 29, 2023, confirming this coin. The Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) stands as a premier medical institute in India, celebrated for its commitment to excellence in education and research. It provides comprehensive training for both undergraduate and postgraduate medical and nursing students, assuring promising career paths in the defense services. Established on May 1, 1948, in accordance with the recommendations of the BC Roy Committee, the institute emerged from the amalgamation of various defense medical organizations. Kolkata Mint Opens Bookings for Rani Durgavati Coin Sets

The India Government Mint, Kolkata, has opened the bookings for the ₹500 commemorative coin issued to mark the 500th Birth Anniversary of Rani Durgavati . The bookings are open from November 25, 2023, and it is subject to limited availability. Earlier, the Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, released the commemorative coin and a postage stamp to mark the event on October 5, 2023, in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. The Governor of Madhya Pradesh, Shri Mangubhai C. Patel, and the Chief Minister, Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, were among the distinguished dignitaries present at the occasion. The ₹500 coin is currently available in the Proof Set, packaged in a Folder or Blister pack, and is priced at ₹5,554. The UNC Set in a Folder or Blister pack may be issued at a later date. PM Modi Unveils ₹525 Coin in Honour of Saint Meera Bai

The Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, unveiled a  ₹525   commemorative coin   and a postage stamp to mark the  525th Birth Anniversary of Saint Meera Bai  during his participation in the ‘Sant Mirabai Janmotsav’ in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on November 23, 2023. The Governor of Uttar Pradesh, Smt. Anandiben Patel, Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath, Deputy Chief Ministers Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya and Shri Brajesh Pathak, and Mathura MP Smt. Mumbai Mint Open Bookings for National Technology Day Coin Sets

The India Government Mint, Mumbai, has initiated bookings for the ₹100 commemorative coin , issued in honour of National Technology Day . The bookings commenced on November 22, 2023, and will continue until December 30, 2023. Earlier, On May 11, 2023, the Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi released the ₹100 coin and a postal stamp marking  National Technology Day , the 25th Anniversary of Operation Shakti at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The Union Minister for Defence, Shri Rajnath Singh and Union Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Shri Jitendra Singh were present on the occasion among others.  The National Technology Day coins are issued in Proof and UNC sets in Folder/Blister packages and Proof Sets with MDF Boxes. The Government of India will issue a ₹525  commemorative coin  to mark the  525th Birth Anniversary of Saint Meera Bai . The Ministry of Finance issued a gazette notification on November 21, 2023, confirming this coin. The Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will participate in the ‘Sant Mirabai Janmotsav’ - a program being organized to celebrate the 525th Birth Anniversary of Saint Mirabai in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on November 23, 2023, at around 4:30 PM. The Prime Minister will also release a commemorative stamp along with the commemorative coin in honor of Sant Mira Bai. He will also attend the cultural program organized on the occasion. To celebrate this milestone, a year-long series of commemorative activities highlighting its achievements across various domains will be held from January 19, 2023, to January 16, 2024. Kaivalyadhama Coins Now Available at KSMYM Samiti

The ₹100  commemorative coin  issued to mark the  Centenary Year of Kaivalyadhama  is now available at Kaivalyadhama Shriman Madhava Yoga Mandir Samiti (KSMYM Samiti) in MDF Boxes. First Look of ₹100 Proof Set of Kaivalyadhama in MDF Box Earlier, on November 1, 2023, the Hon'ble Governor of the Reserve Bank of India, Shri Shaktikanta Das, unveiled the ₹100 commemorative coin at the World Trade Centre in Mumbai. The coin is minted by the India Government Mint, Mumbai. However, the KSMYM Samiti is charging ₹11,000 for the MDF Box. This price might be considered too high for numismatists, as the mint typically offers Proof Sets in MDF Boxes for around ₹4,500. Shaktikanta Das unveiled the ₹100  commemorative coin  to mark the Centenary Year of Kaivalyadhama at World Trade Centre, Mumbai on November 1, 2023. Founded by Swami Kuvalayananda in 1924, Kaivalyadhama has been a trailblazer in advancing well-being, education, and research in the field of Yoga for the past century. Located on a expansive 180-acre campus in Lonavala, Maharashtra, it is home to a state-of-the-art research facility, the world's first Yoga college, a healthcare center, and a CBSE school, among other outstanding amenities. This release marks the 13th  commemorative coin  of the year 2023, minted by the India Government Mint, Mumbai.
