Mumbai Mint Open Bookings for National Technology Day Coin Sets

The India Government Mint, Mumbai, has initiated bookings for the ₹100 commemorative coin, issued in honour of National Technology Day. The bookings commenced on November 22, 2023, and will continue until December 30, 2023.

Earlier, On May 11, 2023, the Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi released the ₹100 coin and a postal stamp marking National Technology Day, the 25th Anniversary of Operation Shakti at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The Union Minister for Defence, Shri Rajnath Singh and Union Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Shri Jitendra Singh were present on the occasion among others. 

The National Technology Day coins are issued in Proof and UNC sets in Folder/Blister packages and Proof Sets with MDF Boxes.

The ₹100 coin in the Proof Set is priced at ₹4,015, while the UNC Set is available at ₹3,495 for the Folder/Blister package. For those interested in the Proof Set with the MDF Box, it is priced at ₹4,465.

These coin sets can be purchased either at the mint premises or through the official website of the India Government Mint, with updates available in the current and upcoming bookings section.

Kolkata Mint Commences Bookings for RSS Coin Sets

The India Government Mint, Kolkata, has commenced the bookings for the ₹100  commemorative coin  issued to mark the 100 Years of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). The bookings are open from October 7, 2025, and it is subject to limited availability. Earlier, on October 1, 2025, the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, unveiled the commemorative coin along with a special postal stamp to mark the event at Dr. Ambedkar International Centre in New Delhi. The ₹100 coin is currently available in the Proof Set, packaged with a booklet pack. It remains to be seen whether the Mint will also issue the UNC Set with a booklet pack or the Proof Set with an MDF box.  The ₹100 coin is priced at ₹8,410 for the Proof Set, which comes packaged with a booklet pack.
