RBI Governor releases Kaivalyadhama Commemorative Coin

Shri. Shaktikanta Das, Governor, Reserve Bank of India unveiled the commemorative coin of ₹100 to mark the Centenary Year of Kaivalyadhama at an event organised by Kaivalyadhama on November 1st, 2023 at the World Trade Centre, Mumbai.

Founded by Swami Kuvalayananda in 1924, Kaivalyadhama has been a trailblazer in advancing well-being, education, and research in the field of Yoga for the past century. Located on a expansive 180-acre campus in Lonavala, Maharashtra, it is home to a state-of-the-art research facility, the world's first Yoga college, a healthcare center, and a CBSE school, among other outstanding amenities.

The ₹100 coin, released today is minted by the India Government Mint, Mumbai. This release marks the issuance of the 13th commemorative coin for the year 2023.
