New Commemorative Coin: Shri Ram College of Commerce
The Government of India will issue a ₹100 commemorative coin to mark the Centenary Year of Shri Ram College of Commerce . The Ministry of Finance issued a gazette notification on April 28, 2026, confirming this coin. Shri Ram College of Commerce, popularly known as SRCC, is one of India’s premier institutions for commerce and economics education. Established in 1926, it is a constituent college of University of Delhi and is renowned for its academic excellence and highly competitive admissions. The college has produced many distinguished alumni in business, public service, and academia. Located in Delhi, SRCC continues to be a symbol of quality education and leadership in India. The metal composition of the ₹100 coin will consist of a Quaternary Alloy, comprising 50% Silver, 40% Copper, 5% Nickel, and 5% Zinc.
