Kolkata Mint Opens Bookings for Panchatantra 'The Crow and The Snake' Souvenir

The India Government Mint, Kolkata has opened the advanced bookings of the second coloured Panchatantra souvenir sets with story-tale 'The Crow and The Snake.' The bookings are open from July 22, 2022 until stock last.

The souvenir proof coin comes with a attractive package and priced at ₹1200. Earlier, the souvenir was displayed at an exclusive exhibition on Evolution of Indian Currency at Currency Note Press, Nashik conducted by Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Limited (SPMCIL) on 8th June 2022.

The souvenir is available at Kolkata Mint's premises as well as at the India Govt. Mint official website. The souvenir coin index has been updated to provide information on past and recent releases under one roof.

Kolkata Mint Starts Bookings for Make in India and Language Dept Coin Sets

The India Government Mint, Kolkata, has commenced the bookings for the commemorative coins issued on 10th Anniversary of Make in India and Official Language Department . The bookings are open from March 16, 2026, and it is subject to limited availability. The first-ever coloured coin with ₹100 denomination was unveiled by the Union Minister for Commerce and Industry, Shri Piyush Goyal in New Delhi to mark a decade of the Make in India initiative on September 20, 2025.  The ₹50 coin was released to mark the Golden Jubilee of Official Language Department by the Union Home Minister, Shri Amit Shah, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi on June 26, 2025.
