Kolkata Mint Opens Bookings for Sri Aurobindo Coin Sets

The India Government Mint, Kolkata has opened the bookings for ₹150 commemorative coin issued to mark the 150th Birth Anniversary of Sri Aurobindo. The bookings are open from February 14, 2023, and it is subject to limited availability.


Earlier, the Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi released the commemorative coin along with the postage stamp to mark the event on December 13, 2022 via video conferencing. The programme was held in Kamban Kalai Sangam, Puducherry, under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.

The ₹150 commemorative coin is available in both Proof and UNC sets, presented in a Folder/Blister pack. The Proof Set is priced at ₹3,706 and UNC Set at ₹3,443.

These coin sets can be purchased either at the mint premises or through the official website of the India Government Mint, with updates available in the current and upcoming bookings section.

Mumbai Mint Commences Bookings for BSG Coin Sets

The India Government Mint, Mumbai, has commenced the bookings for the ₹75  commemorative coin  issued to mark the Diamond Jubilee of the Bharat Scouts and Guides . The bookings are open from today, December 24, 2025, and it is subject to limited availability. Earlier on November 24, 2025, the Hon'ble Governor of Uttar Pradesh, Smt. Anandiben Patel, released a ₹75 coin and a postal stamp to mark the occasion while inaugurating the 19th National Jamboree of the Bharat Scouts and Guides, in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.  The ₹75 coin is available in both Proof and UNC sets, presented in a folder/blister pack. Additionally, the Proof Set is also available in an MDF box package. The Proof Set is priced at ₹6,667 and the UNC Set at ₹6,503, both offered in folder/blister packaging.
