Bookings Started for Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati and Arya Samaj Coin Sets

The India Government Mint, Kolkata, has opened the bookings for commemorative coins of Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati and the Arya Samaj. The bookings are open from October 31, 2025, and it is subject to limited availability.

Earlier in the day, the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, released commemorative coins — ₹200 to mark the 200th Birth Anniversary of Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati and ₹150 to mark 150 years of the Arya Samaj’s remarkable service to society at Rohini, New Delhi. The occasion was graced by the Hon’ble Governor of Gujarat and Maharashtra, Shri Acharya Devvrat, the Chief Minister of Delhi, Smt. Rekha Gupta, along with several other dignitaries and representatives of the Arya Samaj.

Both the ₹200 and ₹150 coins in the Proof Set is priced at ₹1,232, offered in Booklet packaging. Additionally, the Proof and UNC Coin Sets in Folder or blister pack, as well as the Proof Set with an MDF box, may be issued at a later date.

Both the ₹200 and ₹150 commemorative coins are issued in Nickel Silver for the very first time, representing an important milestone in the evolution of Republic India’s coinage. These coin sets can be purchased either at the mint premises or through the official website of the India Government Mint, with updates available in the current and upcoming bookings section.

Kolkata Mint Commences Bookings for RSS Coin Sets

The India Government Mint, Kolkata, has commenced the bookings for the ₹100  commemorative coin  issued to mark the 100 Years of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). The bookings are open from October 7, 2025, and it is subject to limited availability. Earlier, on October 1, 2025, the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, unveiled the commemorative coin along with a special postal stamp to mark the event at Dr. Ambedkar International Centre in New Delhi. The ₹100 coin is currently available in the Proof Set, packaged with a booklet pack. It remains to be seen whether the Mint will also issue the UNC Set with a booklet pack or the Proof Set with an MDF box.  The ₹100 coin is priced at ₹8,410 for the Proof Set, which comes packaged with a booklet pack. The Government of India will issue a ₹100  commemorative coin  to mark the Centenary Celebrations of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). The Ministry of Finance issued a gazette notification on September 30, 2025, confirming this coin. The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is a voluntary cultural organization founded in 1925 by Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar in Nagpur. It promotes the values of discipline, selfless service, and national unity, with the vision of strengthening Indian society based on cultural and traditional ideals.
