Hyderabad Mint Commences Bookings for CPCL Coin Sets

The India Government Mint, Hyderabad, has started the bookings for the ₹60 commemorative coin issued to mark the Diamond Jubilee of Chennai Petroleum Corporation LimitedThe bookings are open from today, February 4, 2026, and it is subject to limited availability.

Earlier on January 27, 2026, the Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Shri Hardeep Singh Puri, released the ₹60 coin marking the sixty years of refining operations of Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited (CPCL) at the India Energy Week (IEW) 2026 event held in Goa.

The ₹60 coin is currently issued in a Proof Set with a Booklet and Cardboard (Kappa) Box packaging. The Proof Sets with Folder and MDF packaging, as well as UNC Sets with folder, may be introduced later.

The ₹60 coin in the Proof Set with the Booklet package is priced at ₹9,410, while the Proof Set with the Cardboard (Kappa) Box is priced at ₹9,500.

The above pricing is the initial issue price and is subject to revision. However, due to significant fluctuations in silver prices, the mint may review and revise the prices on a day-to-day basis.

These coin sets can be purchased either at the mint premises or through the official website of the India Government Mint, with updates available in the current and upcoming bookings section.
