The Government of India will issue a ₹100  commemorative coin  to mark the Centenary Celebrations of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). The Ministry of Finance issued a gazette notification on September 30, 2025, confirming this coin. The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is a voluntary cultural organization founded in 1925 by Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar in Nagpur. It promotes the values of discipline, selfless service, and national unity, with the vision of strengthening Indian society based on cultural and traditional ideals. The RSS conducts daily shakhas (local gatherings) where physical training, character building, and community service are emphasized. The Reserve Bank of India has announced the launch of a new microsite exclusively dedicated to Indian banknotes. The microsite is designed to serve as a one-stop platform for the public to explore, learn, and understand various aspects of the country’s currency in an interactive and user-friendly manner. According to the RBI’s press release dated September 10, 2025, the new microsite provides the public with access to a wide range of resources on banknotes. These include a 360-degree view that allows detailed exploration of their design and layout. To further enhance understanding, the platform incorporates multimedia features such as videos, audio guides, and animations that explain security features in a simple and engaging way.
