The Government of India will issue a ₹100 commemorative coin to mark the Centenary Celebrations of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). The Ministry of Finance issued a gazette notification on September 30, 2025, confirming this coin. The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is a voluntary cultural organization founded in 1925 by Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar in Nagpur. It promotes the values of discipline, selfless service, and national unity, with the vision of strengthening Indian society based on cultural and traditional ideals. The RSS conducts daily shakhas (local gatherings) where physical training, character building, and community service are emphasized.
