Mumbai Mint Opens Bookings for FAO Coin Sets

The Mumbai Mint opened bookings for the ₹75 commemorative coin issued to mark the 75th Anniversary of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). The booking window is available from December 15, 2020, to January 30, 2021.

The ₹75 commemorative coin is available in both Proof and UNC sets, presented in a Folder/Blister pack. Additionally, it is also offered with an MDF box packaging option for both variants.

The ₹75 coin in the Proof Set is priced at ₹3,580, while the UNC Set is available at ₹3,065 for the Folder/Blister package. For those interested in the MDF Box, it is priced at ₹3,940 for the Proof Set and ₹3,445 for the UNC Set.

The India Government Mint, Mumbai, has commenced the bookings for the ₹75  commemorative coin  issued to mark the Diamond Jubilee of the Bharat Scouts and Guides . The bookings are open from today, December 24, 2025, and it is subject to limited availability. Earlier on November 24, 2025, the Hon'ble Governor of Uttar Pradesh, Smt. Anandiben Patel, released a ₹75 coin and a postal stamp to mark the occasion while inaugurating the 19th National Jamboree of the Bharat Scouts and Guides, in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.  The ₹75 coin is available in both Proof and UNC sets, presented in a folder/blister pack. Additionally, the Proof Set is also available in an MDF box package. The Proof Set is priced at ₹6,667 and the UNC Set at ₹6,503, both offered in folder/blister packaging. The year 2025 ended with record-breaking releases of commemorative coins , with the total number rising to 35 themes — the highest ever in the history of Republic India coinage.
