Shri Kamlesh Patel Releases ₹150 Commemorative Coin on Lalaji

The President of the Shri Ram Chandra Mission, Shri Kamlesh Patel 'Daaji' released the ₹150 commemorative coin to mark the 150th Birth Anniversary of Shri Ram Chandraji Maharaj of Fatehgarh, affectionately known as Lalaji, the Founder of the Shri Ram Chandra Mission on January 26, 2023.

The release took place at the Heartfulness headquarters at Kanha Shanti Vanam, on the outskirts of Hyderabad, coinciding with the beginning of a ten-day-long music festival featuring performances by legendary Indian artists, followed by group meditation sessions.

On this auspicious occasion of Vasant Panchami, commemorating the 150th Birth Anniversary of the revered Adi Guru Param Pujya Lalaji Maharaj, Shri Kamlesh Patel 'Daaji' was also conferred the prestigious Padma Bhushan in recognition of his spiritual and social contributions.

Speaking on the occasion, Kamlesh Patel 'Daaji' remarked, “This special occasion marks the 150th Birth Anniversary of Lalaji Maharaj, whose blessings guide the Shri Ram Chandra Mission in promoting the evolution of human consciousness and serving humanity.”

This is the first commemorative coin released in 2023, following the release of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) coin, and it was minted by the India Government Mint, Mumbai.

Due to technical reasons, reporting on the release was delayed on this blog, but the event stands as a landmark celebration in honour of Lalaji Maharaj and the mission he founded.
