Mumbai Mint Opens Bookings for ₹75 Coin of IYM 2023

The India Government Mint, Mumbai, has opened the bookings for the ₹75 commemorative coin issued to mark the International Year of Millets 2023. The bookings are open from July 13, 2023 to August 23, 2023.

Earlier, the Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi released the ₹75 coin, postage stamp and special cover on International Year of Millets 2023 while inaugurating the Global Millets (Shree Anna) Conference at Subramaniam Hall, NASC Complex, on March 18, 2023 at New Delhi.

The event was attended by Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, Shri Narendra Singh Tomar; Union Minister for External Affairs, Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar; Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya; Union Minister for Commerce and Industry, Shri Piyush Goyal; and Union Ministers of State for Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, Shri Kailash Choudhary and Smt. Shobha Karandlaje, among others.

The Proof Set is priced at ₹3,880 and the UNC Set at ₹3,360 for the standard Folder/Blister pack. Additionally, the sets are also offered in MDF or Wooden box packaging, with the Proof Set priced at ₹4,335.

These coin sets can be purchased either at the mint premises or through the official website of the India Government Mint, with updates available in the current and upcoming bookings section.

Kolkata Mint Commences Bookings for RSS Coin Sets

The India Government Mint, Kolkata, has commenced the bookings for the ₹100  commemorative coin  issued to mark the 100 Years of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). The bookings are open from October 7, 2025, and it is subject to limited availability. Earlier, on October 1, 2025, the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, unveiled the commemorative coin along with a special postal stamp to mark the event at Dr. Ambedkar International Centre in New Delhi. The ₹100 coin is currently available in the Proof Set, packaged with a booklet pack. It remains to be seen whether the Mint will also issue the UNC Set with a booklet pack or the Proof Set with an MDF box.  The ₹100 coin is priced at ₹8,410 for the Proof Set, which comes packaged with a booklet pack.
