President Murmu to release ₹100 coin on Centenary Year of Kaivalyadhama

The Honorable President of India, Smt. Draupadi Murmu, will release a ₹100 commemorative coin and a postage stamp to celebrate the Centenary Year of Kaivalyadhama on November 29, 2023, Presented by Kudilal Govindram Seksaira Foundation at Kaivalyadhama in Lonavala.

In addition to the Centenary Celebrations, there will be workshops and plenary sessions organised from November 29th to December 1st, 2023. You can register for the National Conference on Kaivalyadhama's official website. This event is supported by the Ministry of Ayush.

Founded by Swami Kuvalayananda in 1924, Kaivalyadhama has been a trailblazer in advancing well-being, education, and research in the field of Yoga for the past century. Located on a expansive 180-acre campus in Lonavala, Maharashtra, it is home to a state-of-the-art research facility, the world's first Yoga college, a healthcare center, and a CBSE school, among other outstanding amenities.

A gazette notification was issued by the Ministry of Finance on September 27, 2023, regarding the release of a commemorative coin.

4-Nov-2023 Update: Shri. Shaktikanta Das, Governor, Reserve Bank of India unveiled the commemorative coin of ₹100 to mark the Centenary Year of Kaivalyadhama at an event organised by Kaivalyadhama at the World Trade Centre, Mumbai.
