President Murmu to Release ₹100 Coin on Kaivalyadhama
The Hon’ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, is expected to release a ₹100 commemorative coin and a postage stamp to mark the Centenary Year of Kaivalyadhama on November 29, 2023. The event is being presented by the Kudilal Govindram Seksaria Foundation at Kaivalyadhama in Lonavala.
In addition to the Centenary Celebrations, there will be workshops and plenary sessions organised from November 29th to December 1st, 2023. You can register for the National Conference on Kaivalyadhama's official website. This event is supported by the Ministry of Ayush.
Founded by Swami Kuvalayananda in 1924, Kaivalyadhama has been a trailblazer in advancing well-being, education, and research in the field of Yoga for the past century. Located on a expansive 180-acre campus in Lonavala, Maharashtra, it is home to a state-of-the-art research facility, the world's first Yoga college, a healthcare center, and a CBSE school, among other outstanding amenities.
The Ministry of Finance, through its gazette notification dated September 27, 2023, confirmed the issuance of this coin. Additionally, several more commemorative coin releases are expected this year, as outlined in the upcoming and possibility section.

Shri. Shaktikanta Das, Governor, Reserve Bank of India unveiled the ₹100 commemorative coin to mark the Centenary Year of Kaivalyadhama on November 4, 2023 at an event organised by Kaivalyadhama at the World Trade Centre, Mumbai.
