The Government of India will issue a  commemorative coin  of ₹125 to mark the  125th Birth Anniversary of Shri Ram Chandra Ji of Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh . The Ministry of Finance issued a gazette notification on January 31, 2024, confirming this coin. Shri Ram Chandra of Shahjahanpur, affectionately known as Babuji, was born on April 30, 1899. He is the founder of a spiritual organisation called Shri Ram Chandra Mission (SRCM), established in honour of his Master, Shri Ram Chandra Ji of Fatehgarh, in 1945. The  metal composition  of the ₹125 coin will consist of a Quaternary Alloy, comprising 50% Silver, 40% Copper, 5% Nickel, and 5% Zinc. The coin will weigh 35 grams and have a diameter of 44 mm, featuring 200 serrations along the edge. The coin's description is as follows. The India Government Mint, Hyderabad, achieved record sales with the commemorative coin of ₹100 issued on the occasion of the  Birth Centennial Year of Shri Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao , popularly known as NTR, unveiled by President Smt. Droupadi Murmu in New Delhi on August 28, 2023. The Hyderabad Mint at Charlapally, the facility responsible for minting these coins, facilitated in-person sales at counters located at the Saifabad Mint and the IG Cherlapally.
