Kolkata Mint Opens Bookings for Ramakrishna Mission Coin Sets

The India Government Mint, Kolkata, has started accepting bookings for the ₹125 commemorative coin issued to mark the 125 Years of Ramakrishna Mission. The bookings are open from January 16, 2024, and is subject to limited availability.

Earlier, the Minister of Law & Justice and Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs and Culture, Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal, unveiled the coin along with the postage stamp at the Abhedananda Convention Center, Belur Math, Howrah, on December 27, 2023.

The ₹125 coin, included in the Proof Set and available in Folder/Blister packaging, is priced at ₹3,162. The UNC Set is priced at ₹2,907.

These coin sets were initially available before the mint bookings, being sold after the release ceremony at Belur Math, the Headquarters of Ramakrishna Math & Ramakrishna Mission, although not directly to the general public. 

These coin sets can be purchased either at the mint premises or through the official website of the India Government Mint, with updates available in the current and upcoming bookings section.

Hyderabad Mint Opens Bookings for Sri Sathya Sai Baba Coin Sets

The India Government Mint, Hyderabad, has opened the bookings for the ₹100  commemorative coin  issued to mark the  Birth Centenary of Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba . The bookings are open from November 19, 2025, and it is subject to limited availability. Earlier in the day, the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi released the commemorative coin and postage stamp to mark the event at Sri Sathya Sai Hill View Stadium, Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh. The event was graced by the presence of the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Shri N. New Commemorative Coin: Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba

The Government of India will issue a ₹100  commemorative coin  to mark the ' Birth Centenary of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba '. The Ministry of Finance issued a gazette notification on April 22, 2025, confirming this coin. Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba was a revered spiritual leader and humanitarian, known for his teachings on love, unity of religions, and selfless service. Born in 1926 in Puttaparthi, India, he inspired millions through his message of "Love All, Serve All" and established numerous free hospitals, schools, and water projects to uplift humanity. His legacy continues to guide people worldwide in living a life of compassion, truth, and devotion. The  metal composition  of the ₹100 coin will consist of a Quaternary Alloy, comprising 50% Silver, 40% Copper, 5% Nickel, and 5% Zinc.
