Kolkata Mint Opens Bookings for Ramakrishna Mission Coin Sets

The India Government Mint, Kolkata, has started accepting bookings for the ₹125 commemorative coin issued to mark the '125 Years of Ramakrishna Mission'. The booking period began on January 16, 2024, and is subject to limited availability.

The ₹125 coin, included in the Proof Set and available in Folder/Blister packaging, is priced at ₹3,162. The UNC Set is priced at ₹2,907, and the Proof Set with the MDF/Wooden Box is currently awaiting availability for booking.

The Minister of Law & Justice and Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs and Culture, Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal, unveiled the commemorative coin along with the postage stamp to mark the '125 Years of Ramakrishna Mission' at the Abhedananda Convention Center, Belur Math, Howrah, on December 27, 2023.

These coin sets were initially available before the mint bookings, being sold after the release ceremony at Belur Math, the Headquarters of Ramakrishna Math & Ramakrishna Mission, although not directly to the general public. Currently, these coin sets are available for purchase either at the Mint Premises or through the official website of the India Government Mint.
