Hyderabad Mint Commences Bookings for Karnataka Bank Coins

The India Government Mint, Hyderabad, has commenced bookings for the ₹100 commemorative coin issued to commemorate the Centenary Year of Karnataka Bank starting from February 19th, 2024, and it is subject to limited availability.

The ₹100 coin is currently available in Proof with MDF/Wooden Box packaging, while bookings for the Proof Set and UNC Set with Folder/Blister packaging have not yet opened. The ₹100 coin in the Proof Set with MDF/Wooden Box packaging is priced at ₹4,750.

During the 100th Foundation Day Celebrations of Karnataka Bank at TMA Pai Convention Centre, Mangaluru, on February 18, 2024, the Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka, Shri D. K. Shivakumar, revealed the ₹100 commemorative coin.

The commemorative coin will be accessible for purchase at the Hyderabad Mint Premises and through the official website of the India Government Mint. Please refer to the updated Current and Upcoming Bookings section for your convenience and information.

The Governor of Karnataka, Shri Thaawarchand Gehlot, along with Jainacharya Shri Jin Piyush Sagar Surishwarji, will release commemorative coins and postage stamps to celebrate the 2900th Janm Kalyanak and 2800th Nirvan Kalyanak of the 23rd Tirthankara, Shri Parshvanath Bhagwan, at Bhopalgarh, District Jodhpur, Rajasthan, on December 25, 2024.
