The Hon’ble Minister of State (Independent Charge) for the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation ( MoSPI) , Ministry of Planning, and Minister of State in the Ministry of Culture, Shri Rao Inderjit Singh, unveiled the ₹75 commemorative coin and a Customized My Stamp to mark 75 years of the National Sample Survey while commemorating the 19th Statistics Day on June 29, 2025, at Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, New Delhi. The Hon'ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, unveiled the ₹100 commemorative coin and postal stamp to mark the Birth Centenary of Acharya Shri Vidyanand Ji Maharaj  today, June 28, 2025, at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. The Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) will commemorate the 19th Statistics Day on June 29, 2025, at Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, New Delhi. As part of the celebration, a ₹75 commemorative coin and a Customized My Stamp will be released to mark 75 years of National Sample Survey . The Government of India will issue a ₹75  commemorative coin  to mark the  75th Anniversary of the National Sample Survey . The Ministry of Finance issued a gazette notification on June 27, 2025, confirming this coin. The National Sample Survey (NSS) is a large-scale, nationwide survey conducted by the Government of India to collect vital socio-economic data. Initiated in 1950, it provides statistical insights on various subjects such as employment, consumption, health, education, and housing. Conducted through periodic rounds by the National Statistical Office (NSO), the NSS plays a crucial role in shaping evidence-based policies and tracking developmental progress across the country. Its data is widely used by policymakers, researchers, and institutions to understand the living conditions of both urban and rural populations. Mumbai Mint Commences Bookings for IMD Coin Sets

The India Government Mint, Mumbai, has opened bookings for ₹150 commemorative coin issued to celebrate 150 Years of India Meteorological Department (IMD). The bookings began today, June 17, 2025, and are available in limited quantities. Earlier, the Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi unveiled a ₹150 commemorative coin and a postal stamp to celebrate 150 Years of India Meteorological Department (IMD), on January 14, 2025, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. The ₹150 commemorative coin is available in both Proof and UNC sets, presented in a Folder/Blister pack. Additionally, it is also offered in a Proof Set with an MDF box packaging option. The Proof Set is priced at ₹7,325, and the UNC Set at ₹7,135, both offered in folder/blister packaging. The Proof Set with an MDF box is priced at ₹7,530. Finance Minister Inaugurated SPMCIL’s New Corporate Office in New Delhi

Nirmala Sitharaman, inaugurated the new corporate office of the Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Limited (SPMCIL), along with the Union Minister of State for Finance, Shri Pankaj Chaudhary, at the World Trade Centre, Nauroji Nagar, New Delhi, on June 9, 2025. The Hon'ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, is schedule to unveil a ₹100  commemorative coin  to mark the commissioning of the  Jammu–Srinagar Railway Line , featuring the iconic  Chenab Bridge  during the flagging off of the first train between Katra in Jammu and Srinagar on June 6, 2025. The Prime Minister Narendra Modi was scheduled to inaugurate the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Project (USBRL) on April 19, 2025, which includes the world’s tallest Chenab Rail Bridge and the Anji Khad Bridge.
