Hyderabad Mint Opens Bookings for Sri Sathya Sai Baba Coin Sets

The India Government Mint, Hyderabad, has opened the bookings for the ₹100 commemorative coin issued to mark the Birth Centenary of Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. The bookings are open from November 19, 2025, and it is subject to limited availability.

Earlier in the day, the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi released the commemorative coin and postage stamp to mark the event at Sri Sathya Sai Hill View Stadium, Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh. The event was graced by the presence of the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Shri N. Chandrababu Naidu; the Deputy Chief Minister, Shri Pawan Kalyan; Union Ministers, Shri K Rammohan Naidu, Shri G Kishan Reddy, Shri Bhupathi Raju Srinivasa Verma, cricket legend Shri Sachin Tendulkar; actress Smt. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan; and several other eminent dignitaries.

The ₹100 commemorative coin is available in both Proof and UNC sets, presented in a Folder/Blister pack. The Proof Set in an MDF box, may be issued at a later date.

The Proof Set is priced at ₹5,410, and the UNC Set at ₹5,280, both offered in folder/blister packaging. The Proof Set with an MDF box is priced at ₹5,887.

These coin sets can be purchased either at the mint premises or through the official website of the India Government Mint, with updates available in the current and upcoming bookings section.
