Hyderabad Mint Starts Bookings for Partagali Math Coin Sets

The India Government Mint, Hyderabad, has started the bookings for the ₹550 commemorative coin issued to mark the 550th Year Celebration of Shree Samsthan Gokarn Partagali Jeevottam MathThe bookings are open from today, November 28, 2025, and it is subject to limited availability.

Earlier in the evening, the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, released the ₹550 commemorative coin and a postal stamp on the occasion of ‘Sardha Panchashatamanotsava’, at Canacona, South Goa. The event was graced by the auspicious presence of P. P. Shree Vidyadheesh Teerth Swamiji, the Peethadhipathi of the Math; the Governor of Goa, Shri Pusapati Ashok Gajapathi Raju; the Chief Minister of Goa, Shri Pramod Sawant; along with devotees, disciples, dignitaries, and representatives from various religious and cultural organizations who gathered to celebrate this historic milestone in the Math’s glorious spiritual journey.

The ₹550 coin is currently issued in a Proof Set with a Booklet and Cardboard (Kappa) Box packaging. The Proof Sets with folder and MDF packaging, as well as UNC Sets with folder, may be introduced later.

The ₹550 coin in the Proof Set with the Booklet package is priced at ₹5,480, while the Proof Set with the Cardboard (Kappa) Box is priced at ₹5,570.

These coin sets can be purchased either at the mint premises or through the official website of the India Government Mint, with updates available in the current and upcoming bookings section.

Update:

The India Government Mint, Hyderabad, listed the UNC Set in Booklet package at ₹8,980 on February 17, 2026. The pricing is the initial issue price and is subject to revision as the mint may review and revise the prices on a day-to-day basis.
